Summer provides a wonderful opportunity to slow down, reconnect with family, and grow together in Christ. At Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, we believe that the Christian life is strengthened not only through the Divine Service each Lord’s Day, but also through the friendships, study, and encouragement we share throughout the week. We invite our members, neighbors, and visitors from Lititz, Lancaster, and the surrounding communities to join us this July for two special gatherings designed to encourage families and deepen our life together in Christ.

Matins and Mom’s Meet-Up – Friday, July 10
Mothers and young children are invited to join us for our monthly Mom’s Meet-Up on Friday, July 10, following the Matins Service at 9:00. This relaxed morning provides an opportunity for mothers to enjoy conversation, encouragement, and friendship while children spend time playing together in a welcoming environment. Raising children is one of God’s greatest vocations, and it is a blessing to walk alongside other Christian families who share in both the joys and challenges of that calling.

Women’s Bible Class – Saturday, July 11
On Saturday, July 11, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, the Women of Mount Calvary invite all women of the congregation to gather for Bible study and fellowship as we continue our study of the Gospel according to St. John. During this session we will examine John chapter 2, where our Lord Jesus Christ cleanses the temple and reveals His zeal for His Father’s house while pointing forward to His own death and resurrection.
No prior Bible knowledge is necessary to participate. Whether you have studied Scripture for many years or are opening the Bible for the first time, you are welcome to join us. Together we will read God’s Word, ask thoughtful questions, and encourage one another as we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Savior.
