The Nineteenth Sunday after Trinity at Mount Calvary Church

A paralyzed man comes to Jesus through the aid of his friends. The Lord absolved the paralytic and healed and restored this man’s body. The Lord still has power on earth to forgive sins. In holy absolution He raises up the new man and bestows the healing medicine which will bring about our resurrection on the Last Day.

Adult Instructional Bible Class in Lititz

Taking on a large project can seem daunting, but we should take comfort in knowing we aren’t going at it alone! Not only do we have each other, but we can look to God’s people of the past for guidance. Join us for the next three weeks of Sunday School as we look at three events in Holy Scripture where projects like our own were tackled by God’s people. Look at the challenges they faced, the work they put in, and the things that were accomplished by God’s grace and blessing. Be encouraged and inspired as we think about the role we each have in this historic time at Mount Calvary. This week’s topic: Moses & God’s People Construct the Tabernacle, the Place of God’s Meeting Here on Earth-Exodus 37 and following. If you would like to follow along with the references to the Bible Class, here are Pastor’s notes. An audio recording of the class is available here:
