September 17 Worship & Bible Class

In the middle section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us about providence, and God’s care for our daily needs. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33) You may prepare by reading the Propers of the day.

Old Testament: 1 Kings 17:8-16

Psalm: Psalm 146:1-10

Epistle: Galatians 5:25-6:10

Gospel: Matthew 6:24-34

Join us for Adult Bible Class in the Evangelism Wing following our worship service! This Sunday, we will study one of the most comforting passages of Scripture, Romans 8:18-39. What solace can we find in the midst of suffering?
