Lutheran Church January 21 Worship & Bible Class

This Sunday we will celebrate the Feast of the Transfiguration of Our Lord. As our Lord’s flesh gleams with the brightness of God’s Light, so we see that Jesus is True God, come to bring us Light in the midst of the darkness of this world. As we celebrate this feast of joy, so we prepare for the journey ahead. Jesus comes down the mountain so as True Man He can go to another mountain to give His life for you and me. You may prepare by reading the Propers of the day.

Psalm: Psalm 2:1-12

Epistle: 2 Peter 1:16-21

Bible Study in Lancaster PA happens at Mount Calvary

Join us for Adult Bible Class in the Evangelism Wing after the worship service. This week we will study Romans chapter 15 where Paul begins to close his letter to the saints in Rome with final admonitions about his hope for a future visit and his desire that they bear one another’s burdens and live as Christians.
