Fall Rally for the English District of the LCMS

All women and men (and interested school-aged children) of Mount Calvary are invited to attend the Eastern and English Districts Fall LWML Rally at Bethany Lutheran Church in Ewing, NJ, on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10 AM – 2 PM. The Bethany chapter of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League is hosting a reception, lunch, participation in Phil’s Friends (assembling cancer patient care packages), and worship service, in addition to a meeting to vote on grants to missions like A Woman’s Concern (2023 recipient). There is no cost to attend, but donations of specified items for the care packages are requested. Please indicate your interest in attending (and optional carpooling) to Pastor Seifferlein, Anna Boriack, or Erin Myers (717) 413-3556 by October 15.

The Twentieth Sunday after Trinity at Mount Calvary

Join us this Sunday as we hear the Parable of the Wedding Feast. Hear as the Father invites the world to the wedding of His Son. See the responses of many and who replaces them at the occasion. Hear about the one man who came in wearing his own clothes and how he is cast out. Consider what this means for you.

Adult Bible Class at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church

In recognition of the month of October and our annual celebration of the Reformation, we continue our learning of the story of Johann Sebastian Bach’s personal bible. This week we will finish our study off with a look into his Cantata for the Twentieth Sunday after Trinity for his congregations in Leipzig. As our congregation readies to enter our new sanctuary, we rejoice to consider our heritage of music and the Word of God. An audio recording of this class can be listened to:
