Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Lancaster, PA welcomed a guest Pastor this week. The ministry of Word and Sacrament must go on, even in the absence of our beloved Shepherd Pastor Seifferlein. The saints of Mount Calvary enjoyed a moving sermon from Rev. Foelber along with a lively discussion that he led in the adult bible class that focused on tips and the proper way to use the Lutheran Service Book, the liturgical hymnal that is used at Mount Calvary Church.

Pastor Tom Foelber, a retired pastor from Baltimore, will serve us on Sunday while Pastor Seifferlein is attending his eldest daughter’s wedding. 

The weekly readings were from the 3 year lectionary from the 8th Sunday after Pentecost. The service bulletin can be found here.
