Mission Giving – Twelve yellow “Special Mission Offering” envelopes are inserted in your box of envelopes each year, one for each month. For each quarter of the year, the congregation sends all monies received in those envelopes to a chosen mission that we support. Our second quarter offering goes to Reverend James May from Lutherans in Africa. This mission trains pastors, deacons, and evangelists to reach the many communities in various countries in Africa. A Funeral Planning Packet is available to assist you in planning a Christian funeral. Materials include a funeral planning sheet (which will be returned to the church office to keep in our files), suggested funeral service readings and hymns, and articles from The Lutheran Witness magazine to help you start thinking about and preparing your funeral. Please contact the church office or Pr. Seifferlein with any questions regarding funeral preparation and planning or to request a funeral planning packet. Both electronic and paper formats are available.
