Young Adults Growing in Faith and Fellowship at Mount Calvary

At Mount Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster County, PA, the Young Adults Group is thriving—and it’s more than just a social gathering. This energetic group, led by David-Paul Schulze and Noah Kauffman, brings together young men and women in their 20s and 30s who are passionate about their faith, Lutheran theology, and authentic Christian fellowship.

The group meets regularly for worship and fellowship, beginning with attending the Midweek Divine Service at Mount Calvary. Afterward, they head to The Mad Chef Brewery and Eatery in Lancaster, where the conversation continues over food and drinks—often diving deep into discussions about life, theology, and what it means to follow Christ in today’s world.

Recent events have included a concert at Longs Park, a group hike to Chickies Rock overlooking the Susquehanna River, and a visit to Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Baltimore, MD to participate in a traditional Divine Service. These activities provide opportunities to grow spiritually while building lasting friendships within the body of Christ.

What sets this group apart is its strong foundation in the Word and Sacrament, combined with genuine care for one another. Whether on a hike, in worship, or discussing theology over dinner, the Young Adults Group is a vibrant expression of Christian life rooted in confessional Lutheran faith.

If you’re a young adult looking for a meaningful connection in a faithful, Christ-centered community, come see what’s happening at Mount Calvary. You’ll find a place to grow, belong, and thrive in the faith.
