The Eleventh Sunday after Trinity at Mount Calvary

Mount Calvary Church on The Eleventh Sunday after Trinity

A very special guest at Mount Calvary Church, Pastor Peter Bender, preaches on the Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector who went to the temple. The lowly tax collector came to the temple and prayed, “God, be merciful to me, a sinner!” was the one who went down to his house justified before God, not the respectable, outwardly righteous Pharisee who trusted in himself and his own good living (Luke 18:9-14). During the service we also recognize the 20th anniversary of ordination of Pr. Seifferlein with a special prayer and blessing. Bible class audio is not available for the final event capping off an amazing weekend in Lititz PA at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church. Men’s bible study, young families group, adult and children’s bible classes and the Divine Service were all a huge blessing to our community. Thank you to the Pastors, their families and all who served.
