Women’s Bible Study
Please join the Women of Mount Calvary for a Bible Class and time together on Saturday, April 13 from 11:00-12:30 PM with a light brunch theme. (This is a different meeting time!) This month we will look at John chapter 9 as we consider Jesus’ healing of a man who was born blind. All women of the congregation are welcome to attend this class no matter what their knowledge is of the bible. Please speak with Mary Anne Sylvester or Deb Lynch for more information.
Men’s Bible Study Breakfast
Men’s Bible Study Breakfast will meet at 7:30 AM on Saturday, April 27 at the Lititz Family Cupboard Restaurant. Come enjoy a hearty breakfast and good conversation with your brothers in Christ. This month we continue our study on manliness as we look at the life of Elijah. Join us as we strengthen our understanding in our God-given roles as men in our lives, church, and world. Young Families Group
Young Families Group and the Young at Heart will meet Saturday, April 27 at 5:30 PM for a potluck (bring a dish or two to pass) and discussion-based study at Cale and Anna Boriack’s home, 2005 Old Rothsville Road, Lititz. After supper, the children will be excused to enjoy some organized playtime. We are continuing John Kleinig’s book “Wonderfully Made: A Protestant Theology of the Body.” In this book study we hope to dig into the deep mystery of our bodies, who made them, why they matter, and what they were made for. We will consider, along the way, how many (if not most) of the issues facing our modern Western culture are over the purpose, use, and importance of the body. We will learn to see our bodies how God sees them.
Lutheran Church Missouri Synod
The LWML English District Spring Rally will be held on Saturday, May 4 at Martin Luther Chapel in Pennsauken, NJ. The theme is “Jesus is the Answer”. Registration begins at 9 AM, followed by a worship service, business meeting, lunch, and fellowship. More details to follow and please contact us if you are interested.
