Last Thursday evening, Governor Shapiro announced plans to cancel the State of Pennsylvania’s contract with Real Alternatives. Our congregation supports A Woman’s Concern (AWC) as one of our quarterly missions. This cut represents a loss of $100,000 to their revenue annually. AWC was fully expecting this cut in funding and are well prepared; however, the support of Mount Calvary is important to this vital resource in our community. The Fifteenth Sunday after Trinity at Mount Calvary

In the middle section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus teaches us about providence, and God’s care for our daily needs. “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” (Matthew 6:33)
