Young Adults Gather for Theology on Tap
Mount Calvary’s young adults continue to meet each Wednesday evening for Theology on Tap, a time of relaxed fellowship, good conversation, and meaningful theological reflection. Following our midweek Church Service, the group gathers at a local Lancaster-area brewery to enjoy one another’s company and discuss topics related to the Christian faith, the Scriptures, and the life of the Church.
Even if you are unable to attend the Wednesday service, you are invited to join the group around 8:30 p.m. for friendship, hospitality, and honest conversation. Theology on Tap offers a welcoming space for young adults, members, visitors, and guests alike, to grow in faith while forming lasting Christian friendships. Come, pull up a chair, and be part of a community that delights in learning, talking, and living the faith together.

															Missionary Pastor Nathaniel Jensen
A special highlight of this month is a presentation by Missionary Pastor Nathaniel Jensen, who will visit Mount Calvary to share updates on the work the Lord is doing through global missions. Pastor Jensen’s presentation will include stories from the field, reflections on the challenges facing missionaries, and a powerful reminder of the Church’s calling to bring Christ’s saving Gospel to the nations.
This event is a wonderful opportunity to hear firsthand how the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) continues to support missionaries across the world. All are encouraged to attend, ask questions, and pray for this important work of the Church.
Men’s Bible Breakfast
The Men’s Bible Breakfast meets again this month for a morning of food, fellowship, and time in God’s Word. Each gathering includes a hearty breakfast prepared by volunteers, followed by a time of study and discussion led by Pastor Seifferlein.
This group strengthens men of the congregation in their understanding of Scripture and their callings as husbands, fathers, leaders, and servants in Christ’s Church. New participants are always welcome.
Operation Christmas Child
As we approach the season of giving, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Lancaster, PA is once again participating in Operation Christmas Child, an outreach ministry that brings joy and Gospel-centered hope to children around the world. Members are invited to pack shoeboxes filled with small gifts, school supplies, hygiene items, and personal notes of encouragement.
This project is an excellent way for individuals, families, and children to serve together. Boxes and instructions are available in the narthex. All completed boxes will be collected and blessed later in the month before being shipped to Samaritan’s Purse distribution centers.
Through these small gifts, the love of Christ is shared with children who may never have received such encouragement before. We thank all who participate in this beautiful service opportunity.

															Church Family Group
The Church Family Group meets this month for fellowship and activities designed especially for families with young children. This gathering provides mutual support, encouragement, and connection among parents and children as they walk together in the faith.
Families enjoy time to talk, play, learn, and grow in their identity as brothers and sisters in Christ. Whether you are raising toddlers, school-aged children, or teens, you are warmly invited to join the group and be strengthened by the fellowship of other Christian families.
As we look ahead to the close of the Church Year, Mount Calvary continues to stand on the firm foundation of Holy Scripture and the historic Lutheran Confessions. Our life together flows from the Lord’s gifts given each Sunday in the Divine Service, where Christ Himself reaches out to His people in Word and Sacrament.
