The Feast of Saint Titus at Mount Calvary Church

St. Titus was a Gentile convert to Christianity who accompanied the Apostle Paul on his third missionary journey. The book which bears his name gives the orders to set the church on the island of Crete in order, appointing pastors in every city. In his later years he is believed to have returned to Crete, serving as bishop of the church. We give thanks on this day for this zealous missionary and preacher of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
