How many Faithful Lutheran Laymen does it take to move a Baptismal Font?

Many faithful gathered to chip in and clean much of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in Lancaster Pa this past weekend. Cleaning our church was a joy as this is where we gather to be cleansed by Christ’s blood every week and cleansed by the water and the Word in God’s gift of baptism to us.

“He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.” ~ Titus 3:5-7

Now that’s a whole lot of Us being saved, Us getting washed, Us getting renewed, Us getting poured on, Us being justified…not a whole lot of Us in that decision, thank You Christ : )
